Eastern Analytical, Inc. (EAI) employees volunteer their time, energy and resources to many great causes and community activities throughout the year. EAI encourages each of its employees to get actively involved in community activities.
Our EAI logo (a black lab retriever) gives you an indication of our love of animals. It is common to have someone's four legged friend visiting the lab most days. Several employees participate in rescue efforts of stray and/or neglected pets, raise awareness and donations for the Humane Society, volunteer at the Concord SPCA and Libby's Haven for Senior Canines (adoption of older dogs). Employees also assist with the Heifer Project often bringing their llamas as part of their school and church presentations!
Some employees choose to mentor children by coaching youth soccer, baseball and hockey teams or as Cub Scout Den and Girl Scout Leaders. Parents are actively involved in their school communities as well by participating as a classroom volunteer, PTA Box Tops 4 Education Coordinator or as members of the PTA, School Improvement, and Band/Chorus Fundraising committees.
Employees also participate in environmentally related activities such as the Volunteer River Assessment Program (VRAP), which is managed by the NHDES and involves field testing and lab testing of NH rivers during the summer. Others choose to participate on their town's Conservation Commission.
Each holiday season, we come together to share with others less fortunate. EAI employees have collected and donated an average of 250 pounds of food each of the past three years to the NH Food Bank. Employees also fill five Thanksgiving baskets with canned and dry goods and EAI donates a turkey to top each one off! EAI employees adopt and raise money to buy gifts for 2-3 children each year for Operation Santa Claus. With matching contributions from EAI, each child receives what they request on their list. In lieu of holiday gifts and cards, EAI makes monetary contributions to the NH Food Bank and other organizations supporting those in need.
EAI and its employees will continue to make a difference giving back to their communities. The reward? Priceless!
