Electronic Data Delivery (EDD) has become the method of choice for many Eastern Analytical customers for receiving their analytical data. Eastern Analytical has accommodated customer requests by offering a variety of EDD options. The most popular mode of EDD is through internet email. The process is as follows. Data for any given project is gathered from the internal database and assembled in the body of an email. The email is then sent to the inbox of the customer. Within minutes of the job completion, the customer may have an electronic copy of the report, right on his/her desktop. The data is delimited in such a way that it can easily be opened into a spreadsheet or other application for graphing, sorting or other manipulations.
